What is the True Secret?

Many believe that “The Secret” is the power of our mind and intention to draw everything that we hold clearly at the level of thought to ourselves like a magnet.  The images that we hold in our minds, what we are constantly thinking about, and focused on is what will arrive in our life.

Our feelings are a great indicator of the reality of our thoughts. Our thoughts cause our feelings and our emotions let us know what we are attracting to ourselves.  Every time an individual has a thought or a prolonged chronic way of thinking they’re in the creation process; something is going to manifest out of those thoughts. The speed at which those things manifest has to do with the frequency of their vibration.  When you focus on something with a lot of passion, it makes it happen even faster.

It’s believed that we all work with one infinite power – one law – the Law of Attraction. 

The Law of Attraction states that we attract the things with which we are in vibrational harmony and are the object of our mental focus.  It responds to our thoughts.  Every thought has a measurable frequency. Each thought is sending out a magnetic signal that is drawing the parallel back to the place of origin. The law of attraction is not biased to wants or don’t want – it simply manifests the things that you think of.   This law is always working; anytime your thoughts are flowing this law is operational.

The Origin of the Law of Attraction

We have established that life and all that exists in the material world whether seen or unseen emanate from the source of life, the Eternal Mind.  Ralph W. Emerson said, “The secret is the answer to all that has been, all that is, and all that will ever be”.  This is a description of the origin of life – the Eternal Mind not a law that was established by the Eternal Mind to bring us into harmony with its way of thinking to produce a life that is not just self-serving but a life that services all of humanity for good and adds value to all whom you encounter.

The Law of Attraction has been taught from a self-centric standpoint.  You hear statements like this:

• The secret gives you everything you want happiness, success & wealth
• You can have, do, and be anything you want
• You can have the life you choose

Now, I am not saying that success, wealth, and happiness are wrong things to desire for yourself. But I am saying the same desire you have for yourself should be the desire you have for everyone. In previous blogs, we have established that we are all connected through creation; that we are all a part of a collective consciousness, a Source, and an Intelligence; that we are all energy, and we are connected to the Source energy; that everything that exists, seen or unseen is connected; and that we are divinely inseparable. 

By partnering with and doing the work to recondition our thoughts to be in vibrational harmony with the Eternal Mind, we activate the Law of Oneness.  When our thoughts become agreeable to the plan and purpose of the Eternal Mind, the Law of Attraction now begins to service humanity not just our individualism.  The way many teach the Law of Attraction discounts the fact of other people being involved in our life’s successes be it relational, financial, or material.  It’s people who assist us in fulfilling your desires.  Our thoughts either attract the right people to assist us or those who are hindrances us based upon our alignment with the Eternal Mind.

The Secret to our life success is not solely the Law of Attraction but our oneness with the Eternal Mind.
