Oneness with Humanity and the Eternal Mind

“WE ARE ALL ONE” – Do you agree or disagree with that statement?  Do you believe that we all emanate from a single source?

Whether you believe in the big bang theory or the biblical account of how the world was formed either way, it all started with a single cause.  The question that plagues most of us is, “does this single cause connect all forms of life for all existence?”   Last week, we introduced the Law of Oneness which states we are all connected through creation.

Everything that exists, seen or unseen is connected because everything is energy, and all energy is connected to the Source energy…the Eternal Mind.  So, if we are all energy and we all are connected to the Eternal Mind, how can we embrace individuality and view ourselves as separate from the person next to us? Ego! that’s how…our ego tells us we are separate and the body that we dwell in is who we are.  When the fact of the matter is the energy, we carry is the truth of who we are.  A smile on your face is not necessarily an indication of the happiness you’re feeling at the moment.  How often do we show up confident on the outside and simultaneously be inwardly fearful and anxious?  Our thoughts, like everything else in the universe, are energy and vibrate at different frequencies depending on the nature of the thought and the accompanying emotion.

One with Humanity

We must embrace oneness by seeing ourselves in everyone we encounter, rather than having judgmental thoughts about those we regard as separate or different.  We should view others as an extension of ourselves; this will dimmish self-importance and unite us with the Eternal Mind.  By allowing ego to dominate our thoughts, we make allowances for the Earth System to operate in our lives through selfishness, fear, and self-reliance.

There’s a Native American saying, “No tree has branches so foolish as to fight among themselves.  We are all branches of a tree called humanity.”  If we change from seeing ourselves as separate, to seeing ourselves as connected to everyone and everything in the universe we can embrace the Law of Oneness to function in our lives.

It’s okay to take pleasure in what you possess without allowing things to become your identity or an indication of your value or worth.  Let go of your identification with stuff and accomplishments and learn to steward the most valuable assets we have, the ability to serve and add value to humanity.

I believe it’s the brilliance of the Eternal Mind that often hinders us from being at one with it and one with each other.  Our minds reject the fact that we all can be brilliant in our own right.  The diverse display of all that Creation offers and we hold in observance causes us to see ourselves as separate from things that do not share our appearance or function in creation.  When functionality is the sole reason for diversity in the physical world.  Each plant, animal, or human being, whether male or female – South American, Native American, African, or European…each member of creation serves a specific function in this world. Each with its unique gifts and talents to serve mankind and all of creation.

Functionality is not a cause for separation.  It’s a cause for wonder and amazement, and to embrace another aspect of the Eternal Mind. Our physical differences do not speak to the value or worth of an individual person, place, or thing…it speaks to the preeminence of the Eternal Mind. We must recognize the supremacy the Eternal Mind has over all of life.  Our union with the Eternal Mind and our oneness with humanity and all of creation place us in a prominent position over the Earth System.
